Ok I think I know what to stock my 20 gal with just wated to post to make sure.
6 neons
3dwarf corys
2swordtails
2blue diamond guppys
2 shrimp
How does this sound and which fish to add first.
Thanks

sounds ok to me,

not my personal preference but there's no compatibility issues or anything like that

only problem i forsee is you have neons and guppies which while naturally hardy fish, have been so over and inbred that they have become very weak as a result of it. Inspect the tanks very carefully before you buy them. Dawrf cories are also quite delicate but due to more natural reason's.

order should be

swordtails and shrimp after cycling

month or two down the line neons

few weeks later

guppies

dwarf cories need a mature tank, need to leave it at least 6 months before getting them

With the swordtails get females only or males only. If you want males and females then get 1 male and 4 or more females. Males swordtails with pester hell out of the females, sometimes to the point of death. Same as the guppies, male guppies are randy lil buggars that will try to breed with anything.

also i would up the cories to around 6, but thats just my opion, as they do better in larger schools

monitor your nitrate level and if it is going up then do more water changes to dilute it. Or reduce the number of fish. Dwarf corys aren't that big and don't put much load on the tank.
