Stocking?

I have a 55 gallon tank stocked as stated in my signature. I have had them in the tank for about 6 months now. The peacocks and ahlis are starting to show color now. Most of the fish are about 2" now. Some are smaller and some are just a bit bigger but no bigger than 2.5". I am planning on having 2 peacocks and ahlis (1 male and 1 female of each species). With the other I want to keep the same ration.
My question is. Is it time to take out the rest of the fish, and keep the ones I want. I can sex the peacocks and the ahlis, but the others are hard to tell. Any suggestions will help.

The stocking you are proposing is a little high for a 55 gal given the adult size of the Ahli and Peacocks along with the rest. That said - if you provide massive filtration and regular water changes, its certainly possible.
