Way overstocked!
The tank isn't bg enough for the silver sharks (which should be in a larger group) and probably isn't big enough for the clowns - which also should be in groups.
What does the tank measure as your two volumes don't match?

It's a corner tank around 3ft x 3ft x3ft with a bowed front. I have checked the conversion charts and it looks like my tank is around 340 litres not 540 as I had assumed.

Can I add (in my defence!) that the clown loaches and silver sharks are very small at present although I am aware of the size they can get to.)

The pakistani loaches were sold as chain loaches which I understand only get to about 2.5 inches. When I got home and looked at my fish keeping book I realised I'd been sold the wrong fish hence the pakistani loaches. Although I like pakistani loaches I wasn't intending to get any because of the size they grow to. My intention is that if they do become too large for the tank I need a rethink but at PRESENT can I assume that the tank is okay? There is a HUGE amount of room for them to hide and swim and although I appreciate your concerns on the numbers of tank mates for each species that this is not necessarily essential, more ideal. I have seen many many tanks with solitary clown loaches and silver sharks that appear perfectly happy.

The tank is way too small for fast swimming large fish like silver sharks but there are other fish that would be more suited to this space.
The pakistan loaches will stay a reasonable size - they get to 6", rarely 8", so are only half the size of clowns. IME they will shoal with B histrionica & B kubotai to give an interesting and active group.
Keeping baby large fish in tanks that are too small can cause them long term health problems.
It is much better to exchange them ASAP and stock the tank with fish that won't outgrow it.
