Stocking Suggestions

hi guys, now i've decided to go for argos play sand (cheers guys) i need to decide what fish and how many to put in my 29g tank.
all suggestions welcome, completely change the list if you like

i was thinking:
1 male honey gourami (to go with my female)
5 more neon tetra to go with my current 5
3 more peppered catfish to go with my current 2 peppered catfish
5 tiger barbs
5 harlequin rasbora
2 bristle nose plec
some shrimp.

3 clown loaches and the common plecs will out grow the tank eventually

bristlenose plecs are lovely ive got a big one they've more character than common plecs too.

i recomend amano shrimps. they're tough, cheap and easy to find. fairly large too. so less likely to be eaten

how many shrimp would you suggest?

my lfs has some shrimp in at £1 a go which is expensive i know, but they are well looked after. just wanted to know how many i should get for my 29g tank, also what tyre they are. some are a see through blue, some are see through red and some are just red.
they are also just under an inch long

I'd go for
2x dwarf cichlids (ram/apisto/keyhole)
10x neon since you already have some
5x peppered catfish as above
1 or 2 bn depends on which species you can manage to find as they can grow large

and then if space still permits another 5-7 of a different schooling species. Or possibly expand on the existing neon school. Or perhaps some fish that swim near the top, like the honey gourami since you already have one.

edit: don't get blue rams though as the temps they need won't be nice for your other fish
