Stocking Question

Hi all,

I have a 14 gal planted tank, set up for about 8 months, that is currently occupied by:

2 panda corys
2 otocinclus
1 placid male betta
Some ramshorns

The proposed plan is:

5 panda corys
5 otocinclus
1 male betta
5-10 cherry shrimp
Some ramshorns

However, this is my first tropical tank and I'm so used to the 10 gal rule for goldies that I'm not sure if this is overstocked or not? Any comments or suggestions?

Shouldn't be overstocked if your maintenance routine is excellent. But I'd up the cory numbers to 6+.

Brilliant. I do love corys How many should I add to the tank at a time?
