We have a 120ltr fully cycled tank, which we have been keeping a few guppies & mollies in.

I have decided I am a guppy girl at heart, I love these little fish, especially watching the males display to the females, so cute!

The Mollies are being moved to the kids community tank & this tank I would like to fill with guppies. Now bearing in mind that they breed so fast, how many adults would be best? At the moment I have 6 females & 4 males & its looking pretty bare.

I would also like to add a small group of tetra's I have seen some called Black Skirt Tetra's in the LFS, are these ok to go in with the guppies & what size group do they like to be kept in?

You could go with 10 females and 8 males. It is suggested to have more females as they do get harassed a bit by the males. But I have kept them with more males athen females and didn't have any problems. Just be sure to have a good few plants in there, just to break up the males eagerness.
The tetras may be a bit nippy. I do not have experience with black skirts, but I find neons, bleeding hearts, serpeas ( of course ), and a few more that I have kept were a bit nippy. You could add 6 black skirts and just keep an eye on everyone. But if you go with 6 black skirts I would only add 4 more guppies, two of each sex. Cories would be a nice addition for the bottom area of you tank.

Don't forget, larger tetras like black skirt will more than likely eat many of your guppy fry. If you don't mind that then adding a few should be fine. I would watch the male guppies tails though, as many tetras are nippy as Ripley say's.

You could try a pair of Honey gouramis instead, they're small and relatively peaceful.
