Just a quick question. Can anyone think of an angel or butterflyfish that will live happily in a 34g with a maroon clown, arc eye hawkfish and sixline wrasse?? That is of course excluding the dwarf angels !!

Many thanks

Regards

Heh, not if you want to exclude the smallest of the angels . And 30g is just too small for butterflyfishes. I mean you can buy some juveniles, but getting them to eat is a PITA and they grow pretty large, certainly too big for a 34g, sorry CF

Oh well thanks guys I guess it will have to be a dwarf angel of some sort. I was looking at the Xanthurus angelfish, apparently they grow to about 6-7 inches which I was hoping was not too big. Also they adopt a life in captivity extremely well eating all kinds of free available fish foods eg mysis, brine shrimp even finely chopped cockles. Anyway, the wellbeing of the fish is of utmost importance.
