I didn't really know where to put this...so if someone can move it if its in the wrong spot, awesome :) Okay so Ive had livebearers for a while now...they're getting boring. they're too..i don't know easy. Looking for something prettier and larger. My tank is 15 gallons. Kinda tall. Do you think I could keep some loaches and a couple cichlids? And what for plants? Its just too open and empty. I'd like some tall plants. My dad always wanted me to get Angel Fish. Are they a possibility? My LFS takes the fish for store credit so getting rid of all my guppies and mollies wouldn't be a problem.

Well, the plant on the right looks like a non-aquatic plant. What type of lighting do you have?

As for the stocking, IMO, the tank is too small for loaches (barring possibly kuhlie loaches) and cichlids. 15g is limiting, and you kind of got the wrong person responding. Not for overstocking, as I am a notorious overstocker  , but I like to, when stocking tanks, to make the tank appear as large as possible, so I'll tend to recommend smaller fish in greater numbers.

You might want to try some of the smaller gouramis. They are pretty, showy, and stay pretty small. Dwarf and Honey gouramis are the species I'm referring to.

Depending on your lighting, you can certainly grow easy plants. Have a look at the pinned section and some of the journals here.

ah, I don't know...hahah it came with the tank...they said i didnt need special lighting to grow plants. The plant on the right was sold as....I think a ribbon plant or something? can't really remember. I don't know much about loaches...ha. I've had gouramis before. Although I'm not sure which kind. I had a gold one and a silver-blue one. Not sure...hm. Anything else? I don't really like the look of them. I'd just like 2 or 3 larger fish. :)
