Turned down tempeture to 24c added plants 2 days ago still getting my O O

Right went of to LFS this afternoon to choose my fish for friday
i was looking to add

6 Platey ( Orange and Red)
2 Honey Gourami
6 of something else , tretas, or other smallish fish
8/10 Khuli loaches

just read sjolliff,s post in new to hobby

am i not suppost to be fully stocking straight away.

at the LFS they said add about 1/3 of this

but agian
i thought the idea of a fishless cycle was to allow you to nearly fully stock from beginning

If this is not true what should i add tomorrow

As usual , please comment advise even critisize im all ears

Thanks

Ginga

i would add the platys first then a couple of weeks later add the honey gouramis the another couple of weeks later add the kullis and then the tetras

The lfs probably don't know what a fishless cycle is, so don't ask for advice following it! ;)

I believe you can stock to about 80% ish - the biggest issue is if the fish need a mature tank, and I havent gleaned enough information to know which fish are good in newly cycled tanks and which aren't...

However, I'm only 11 days into my first ever fishless cycle so -_- might not be the best person to take advice from...
