I have a Juwel rio 180 and at the moment I have
6 Leopard danios
1 platy
10 neon tetras
3 albino cories
all the fish seem happy so I am looking for fish that will not cause any problems.
This week I will be buying 3 bronze cories so they are in a larger group.
I was thinking of getting after these
2 bleeding heart tetras and 2 black phantom tetras as I read this will swim together
A gourami (I like the pearls but I was told they might not get on with my danios, so maybe a pair of dwarfs)
3 otos
Would this be ok or should I change my ideas, the problem is I go to the shop and like so many fish I get a bit carried away
All opinions will be helpful, so thanks in advance.

Your pretty close to your limit in what you can put for a 46 gallon tank.

you could easily get three more bronze corys but i wouldnt bother with the otos as your bottom would be overcrowded you could have a happy pair of dwarf gouramis but try and get male an female two males chase each other a bit and instead of black widow and bleeding heart tetras ghave you considered 5 glowlight tetras they would join up with your neons

I would have thought the otto's would be fine, mine just stick on plants and the side of the tank very rarley do they swim at the bottom. Just my opinon.

Should you not keep otos with cories then, would this be a problem? I only thought of getting otos as I always seem to have brown algae on the glass so I thought they would keep it clean. If it is a problem I could skip getting them and just keep cleaning the glass as I am now. I was looking for some different colour tetras to stand out from the danios which is why I thought of the bleeding heart and black phantoms as I read on here they would swim together, are glowlights my only option?
