hi there as im a bit of a newbie i was wondering if anyone could tell me if ive overstocked my tank all the fish seem happy enough havent had any water problems etc i have in a jewel rekord 70 (70 litres) 10 neon tetras. 7 glowlight tetras. 2 mollys. 2 guppys. 1 red tail shark. 1 plec he will be moved when hes bigger. 1 betta. 1 clown loach cheers in advance. ;)

Other than the clown loach all the fish are ok and the stocking levels are reasonable.
The clown loach needs to be kept with others of its own kind,3 is the minimum recomended number,it will also get too big for a 70 litre tank, clowns can get to 12" in length and really need to be kept in tanks of at least 240 litres ( around 55-60 gallons).

ok cheers for the reply my clown loach loach seems to be dong well on his own though i may get him a couple of mates how fast do they grow?

Theyre slow growers but will need to be moved to a bigger tank within the next 18 months or so,the tank is pretty much stocked to its limit for the time being, you may be able to add a few more fish when the tank is over 6 months old providing you increase filtration.
