What sort of stocking level can i achieve in this tank? I'm going for the classic p.demasoni and yellow labs combination

I'm not quite sure how i should stock it though as the tank is a triangle and i've never really kept territorial fish before. landscape wise i'm thinking to pile ocean rock or something similar on the two straight sides of the tank.

That is going to be a stunning tank. Go for tons of rock, you could fill all but 4-5 inches of the front with rock and leave a little swimming space. Demasoni really tend to hug the rock, so you'll see more of them if you have tons.

As far as stocking, I'm not that great with larger tanks, but at around 90 gallons, you should be able to comfortably hold around 20 demasoni, and 8-10 labs, which should leave you with room for fry. Just be sure you have plenty of filtration, you'll want your filter(s) to turn your tank over 8-10 times and hour.

around 90 gallons, that should 20-25 demasoni and like said already 8-10 labs

that would make for a stunning tank, :good: i think lava rock looks best with dems but thats just my personal oppinion

good luck with the tank! :)

thx for the replies, i'll have to file this away for the future though. The person who was selling the tank has decided to keep it. :/
I will have my mbuna tank someday though. It's my destiny, even the water straight from the tap is alkaline and hard ! :p :good:
