Stocking Jewel Lido 100

Hi,

Am new to the forum so hi

I am about mid cycle at the moment (fishless)I am looking for some advice regarding stocking.

How fussy are fish about hard water we live in a very hard water area (Oxfordshire) i cant really find any info regarding what type of fish like really hard water

I am looking at doing an initial layout a bit like the tank of the month winner Westwood.

I am having a sand base and will plant when finished cycling

So far I have decided I would like :

5 Corys not sure which yet like Panda & Albino's
7 Tetra's (Glowlight)
2 Otos.

Bearing in mind the tank is taller than standard I was thinking of some hatchet fish.
Also like Bolivian Rams

Thats as far as I have got so any help appriciated

Look on a web site called ( aquatics to your door ) . Not sure what there like to buy from but it did help me a great deal in choosing fish as they offer alot of info for alot of fish.....

I brought some fish and shrimp from aquatics to your door back in september and all the fish and shrimp happy and healthy as of today! they packed them very well as well. (apart from the minimum £20 order and £14 for delivery which is not too bad but max i would pay) they r a good site to order from..

Am finally cycled

Just wanted to run my final stocking list see what response I get :

Bottom :

6 Panda Corys

Mid/Bottom:

Pair of Apistos or Kribensis

Mid:

7 Glow Light Tetra

Possibly later on some Hatchet fish & some shrimp

Obviously wont be adding all in 1 go

Tank gets decorated and "scaped " this weekend bog wood a mix of sand & gravel substrate and some sort of caves or arrange wood to have lots of hiding places

Any ideas or advice on the list most welcome
