Have a 50 gallon. 4 feet long x 20 inches high x 12.5 inches wide.
Present stock: Three spot gourami
Bronze cory x 2
Albino cory x 2
Filtration is AquaClear 200, Tetra whisper i20(Transfered from established tank, filter, media and all.) Planning on changing this out for another AC 200, as bioload grows.
Lighting is at 3watts per., full spectrum. This will be upgraded in the future as the plants grow in. (right now just the lights got with the tank.)
Want to up cories to at least 4-6 of each. (not the fancier varieties I know, but easily found locally, and inexpensive. May go for others as replacements.)
Add two or three gouramis.(But debating, about this. My gourami has been queen of her tank so long, may not want to upset her.)
And in the future add a group of ottos. (That's if can keep them fed, if no algae troubles, then don't need them, even though they are cute as cories.)

Been looking around, and not finding, good reviews for Three-spots with schoolers.
Could someone recommend something to go along with what I have?
All help, ideas, suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

I have not kept three spot gourami, so can't comment on your stock plan. But I'll give you a free bump hoping someone else will comment. But I like your idea of upping the shoal numbers to six on the cories. I think you will find that they are happier that way.

Thanks for the bump.
Plan is at a later date, after Big Blue passes, and have fully planted to go with the cories, otto's(if needed), a school of hatchets, and a couple of pairs of angels.
Right now from looking around, barbs seem to go along with three-spots, but not fond of them.
Oh yeah, been planning to up the cories, now have the room.
