Right, I have just purchased a 200 litre tank for £50 which I thought was a bargain.

The tank mates are 5 mollies, a common plec, south African bumblebee catfish, an angel fish and a blue gourami.

I can move any of these fish into my 125 litre tank.

Many thanks for your help :)

I just got a 180 litre, and my current setup (subject to change) is as follows:

- x2 Angelfish
- x2 German Blue Rams
- x2 Dwarf Gouramis
- x6 Congo Tetras
- x1 Snowball Pleco
- x2 Electric Blue Rams

They're just a few suggestions for you =)

Yeh I was thinking:

2x Bolivian rams (as I have hard water)
4x honey gouramis ( if they go with the blue gourami)
6x corydoras
10x rummy nose tetra

Any other ideas?

I'd get rid of all your current stock other than the angel OR the gourami, I wouldnt have both.

If you went down the angel route I'd have a group of six young ones then get rid of four once two have paired up, and then have a large group of cories, (because I love them :D) and a larger tetra species like serpae, buenos aires or congo tetras. No neons though! However ive heard these species are a bit nippy, someone could clarify?
So if you went angels i'd say
6X angels (down to 2)
12X Serpae
12X Congo
12X Sterbai cories

However if you went down the gourami route, you'd have a much wider range of fish to choose from. I'd go for honey gouramies, simply because i think they're gorgeous, 1m to 2/3f, then again two shoals of a tetra species, but this time a smaller, less aggressive species, like neons or cardinals, or black skirt tetras, i like those. And then cories or khuli loaches maybe? Or a small plec like a pitbull plec?
So id say
4X honey gourami 1m/3f
20X cardinals
12X black skirt
12X sterbai cories

Im probably totally wrong here but I think with good hardscape and planting my choices would look alright?

Ok so it turns out I can't keep my smaller 125 tank.

So in that case could someone please suggest a few fish that will go with my current stocking.

I'm thinking of getting 6 yellow rainbow fish. As they are shoaling fish, also something that us a top swimmer as my tank looks a little bare at the top
