I was thinking a Bichir (I wanted to do ornate, but they get pretty big) 1 or 2 ropefish (also get big so im not sure, i get conflicting answers here) and an african butterfly fish or 2. will this work?
the birchir do get on the bigger side, however the rope fish should be ok as long as you get alot of vegitation.abf i think are better with just 1 in a tank not to sure tho
A Senegal would be just fine. The ABF only occupies the top portion of the tank and the senegal will mostly be on the bottom unless its younger. I'm not sure if the ABF would be safe from being eaten though.
pretty sure the ABF will gt to 5-6" when fully grown. once both fish are fully mature I would imagine it will be fine and the Senegal probably wont even see it much. I'm sure senegals are clumsy predators too with poor eye sight so as long as its well fed it shouldn't be able to catch it anyway. Always a slight risk though.
