hi im fairly new to fishkeeping and i am wanting to add new fish into my tank but i want to know if it is safe to or not any help would be appreshiated

the tank i have is a rekord 96 which is 96 litres

at the moment i have -

1 simese (sp) fighter
3 neon tetras (one died :-( think it was the fighter )
4 zebra danios
1 apple snail (which i think is dieing has been in "sleeping" mode for a week  )
and 1 kilki (sp) loach

im wanting to add mollys/guppys/leopard frog plec/snail/ more neon tetras

i dont mind which of those i can add but i would like a mixture and maby the plec/snail but i would rather ask for advice than go ahead and do it and find all the fish die/are in cramped conditions

thanks in advance to any help :)

96 litres is around 25 US gallons.

You do have room to add more fish but I would concentrate on adding a couple more danios, at least 3 more neons and a couple more khulie loaches first.

You can't have guppies with the betta. They don't usualy get along.

Mollies would be ok but they get to at least 4" so don't over-do it. I personaly would suggest you leave them out as well as, with the plec and the above additions, you'd be a little over-stocked. Maybe in future you could add one (male so you don't get fry prefferably).

How big would that plec get to? If you have a scientific name for it that would help. Many get much too big and may not be suitable. If it's a small type that doesn't get over about 4-6", one of those would be fine.
