I have a 20g (US) long tank, moderately planted, the current residents are:

5 bamboo shrimp ranging from 1.5-3 inches
8 cherry barbs ranging from 3/4 - 1 inch
1 julii cory(1.25 inches)
1 albino cory(1 inch)

I am going to add a pearl gourami, from there I do not know what I should do, I have a couple ideas in mind, one would be to take out 4 of the cherry barbs, to make room for some other fish (possibly danios) or a mate for the gourami, any suggestions?

Hi Boxcar Muzzdogg :)

How about adding a few more corys? They do best when they are in small schools, and two really isn't enough.

If you add a pearl gourami, be aware that they can sometimes have nasty dispositions, especially the males. The females can be pretty nice though.

Have you given any thought to any of the smaller tetras? Cardinals or glow lights, for example, make lovely displays and would be very nice in there too. :D

I can't get anymore cories at this time, I will have to wait most likely a couple months, I may just switch them to another tank
