Okay, so i'm going to set up the new tank in the next few days and clone it, so instant cycle. I already have 5 baby firemouths (1" long) in quarantine and 2 juvie boesemani rainbowfish (2" long). I may get some more firemouths - the idea will be to end up with 1 or 2 pairs, or a small group that get along - the rest will go back to the lfs (or to a TFFer maybe!). I must admit I really like the rainbowfish, very funky shape, so was thinking maybe another couple of them (apparently they're best in groups as well, so wanna keep them happy).

The aquascape will be sand, lots of rock for the firemouths and beds of cabomba for the rainbowfish to dart in and out of. I'll probably add an additional eheim external filter as they grow. Lights will have arcadia replacement tubes plus arcadia t5's. CO2 will probably be SERA CO2 tablet system. (I'm too cheap to buy the full CO2 kit and too lazy for DIY)

Any foreseeable problems so far? (Don't worry, will be 2 firemouths, absolute max 4 within a few months). What else (if anything) would go in that tank?

All ideas very welcome!!!

Oh, and if anyone has 2 or 3 bags of caribsea tahitian moon sand they want to give me for peanuts (or guppies) please let me know!!!

How about loaches? I'm a loach lover so I go for loach. Small one such as zebra, yoyo or drawth loach alone with some bottom feeders like cory.
