Hiya, i've just bought a jewel 180 vision and i'll be putting marine fish in. This might not help you but maybe you will find it interesting, I plan on putting 5-6 small fish like dottyback's (or similar) (damsels), one tang of some description and either an moorish idol fish or an angelfish in there! Oh and of course 1 or 2 clownfish (as long as they behave)!
At moment tank is sitting in box int eh middle of my room...so the above list I guess at present is my with list...will keep you posted on progress.

Nah, thats fine. Watch the gramma, he might get a little over-aggressive, but in a larger tank like that he might be ok with his tankmates.

Debbs, dont get a moorish idol unless you're prepared for failure . Most idols never get accustomed to their new aquariums, never feed, and then wither away and die. Its sad but they do not do wll in captivity

are gramma's agressive then? we were contemplating one?

The smaller Grammas can be compared with a docile Psuedochromis in terms of aggression. That is, they may attack relatives, but usually do not bother other fish. Having had a Royal Gramma (Gramma loreto) before, I can say that they are very reclusive and are excellent at avoiding open-water fish attacks, but are vulnerable to fishes such as Morays. Grammas are suitable for most aquaria because of this. Also, they are reef-safe

Sometimes royal gramma's are aggressive, othertimes they're meek as kittens. My similar pseudochromis springeri is a puppy dog compared to the rest of his tankmates, but a friend in my local club say shis wont leave anybody else in his tank alone...
