No its not. Bumble Bee Gobies defend *very small* spaces. They rest on a leaf, or a rock or on the side ot he tank and drive away other gobies that come right into their area. They do not stake out large sections of the tank like cichlids. If you have kept them, you would know this.
If someone wants to only keep 5 in a 20 gallon, there is nothing wrong with it. But these fish are tiny, they will hide and you wont see them. There will be no squabbles between them, which is *why they are fun in the first place*. Otherwise they are boring fish, they just sit around all day. They don't swim, they hop from area to area and do nothing else.
