Are the stocking claculations right

guppies - 6/7
Sunrise plattys - 6/7
neon tetra - 6
Otocinclus - 3
Leopod corries - 4 ?

Um. How big is your tank. It would probably help.

wooops sorry about that it's a 130 litre tank (34us gallons)

little bit over, platy's get relativley big.

i'd drop it down to 3 platys (either 1m 2f or all m all f) and then you'll be ok

does it matter which gender they are, is the activity or nature different between the sexes.(if so which oneis more prefered?)

Think you need more females than males so he cant just try to mate with the same poor girl all the time!!!!! Wish it worked for us as well!!

no difference in activity really, either go for all male, all female or make sure there's at least 2 girls to every boy.

P.S just one more quik question, are the colours of girls different from those of males

I'm a bit of a newbie but hope this helps! We've got some wagtail platties and the colours of males & females are identical. Have seen loads of different types in lfs and no difference between males/females there either.
