Hi,
I am currently doing a fishless cycle, and I seem to be making some decent progress.

I understand that once I am complete, I can pretty much fully stock the tank.

However, does that mean that if I don't fully stock the tank, that the excess bacteria will die off, and that I will then need to increase the stock very gradually?

I assume that is the case, but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

That is the case, yes.

No more than 50% of your current fish stock every two weeks in the standard recommendation, so it's not that slow :)

Just stock it all at once or even over the course of a weekend, 50% sat & 50% sun. :good:
