Stocking advice please

I have a 4ft and a 3ft tank at the moment the 3ft is empty,
in the 4ft is community fish,
going to have a change around though,
would these fish go together in the 4ft.

1severum
1 oscar
3clownloach
1 gibby plec
albino catfish
********************


in the other I'd put the community fish i have,
tetras,
neons,
1 betta
ballon molly.

If you ask in lfs they all give different opinions what to put together.

Depends on the width of the 4ft. I'd say you'd have problems as the severum and Oscar grow cos 4ft will probably get a bit cramped for them. If it is a nice wide tank, then you may get away with it. The plecs and clowns would be ok, and if you could have either oscar or sev, then no probs, but keep an eye on them if you can't

Thanx rvm I may go for the severum then and forget the oscar.

I'd forget the Oscar your Albino Corydoras will become food and the spines on it may well harm any fish that trys to eat it, these should also be in groups. The Severum will be fine with the Clown Loaches and Gibbiceps Plec so then you have to think of some more mid-top fish. Keep thinking and planning.....be a great tank soon.
