Stocking Advice Needed Pls

I'm getting a new tank this tuesday (yeah!). And after reading posts in this forum and visiting to the LFS, I think I will go with Pseudotropheus Demasonis and Yellow Labs. My tank is 48"x20"x20". According to the posts here, I should keep at least 12 Pseudotropheus Demasonis to spread their aggression, if so, how many Yellow Labs should I keep? I'd prefer the tank not looking too crowded.

Got another question: If ideally I should keep about 20 fish in the tank (well, plus one more syno.featherfin), can I have more demo and less yellow lab? Let's say 15 demos and 5 yellow labs?

i got 30+ demansoni and 5 yellows in my 4 by 18"by18" juvies.I'll probably get rid about 5 males demansoni.

Course you can mate

as long as you have a minimum 12 Demasonis the extra numbers can be made of whatever ratio you want
