My bacteria are all doing well so I'm starting to really think about my stock. The tank is roughly a 20" cube with 90 litre volume. I has a very large filter and quite a high flow rate.

It will be lightly planted and have various slate structures and a bit of bogwood.

I'd like to keep either a trio of rams or apistos as the main occupants. After that I'd like to have a little family of corys and some shoaling fish. I have a real soft spot for guppies and like live bearers so I'd like them to be one of the shoals.

So my preliminary stock list;

3 Rams or Apistos
5 or 6 Corys (Pandas probably)
6 to 8 Neons
6 Guppies (2 boys 4 girls)

How does that sound? I've a feeling the tank and filter could take more but will wait to see - I'd like another shoal, maybe zebras or another tetra...

I'll be adding the shoals and corys once I've got zeros in my tests and a 12h cycle and then the rams or apistos a few weeks later.

I would go for a pair of rams 1male 1female or a trio of apisto 1male 2females. Rams do best in pairs where as apisto the males will have multiple females.
so
2 Rams or 3 Apistos
6 Panda Corys
6 Neons
6 Guppies
Then maybe 6 marble hatchets if you want something a little different.
Hoes that look?
