Well they appear to be a peaceful community fish so I would go with more peaceful cichlids that don't grow as large as they do (~12"). Any of the dwarf cichlids would work (rams, apistos, checkers, keyholes) or even could try convicts or firemouths. When you get into GT and Jacks, they might be too agressive. Sevs, might be a little on the aggressive side along with the size. And I think Oscars would be too big but might work if they grow up with them from being little. Geo's could be ok but I don't remember how big they get.

Are you sure you want to add other fish?

2 12'' fish in a 75g sounds pretty fully stocked to me..

I've seen full grown ones at the aquarium, and I think 2 would be more then enough for a 75

I'd consider a peacock eel or 3, maybe an albino bichir?

But if you're that insistant on cichlids, I suppose these guys will help you out! There aren't any I personally know of that work that great. I'd love to see rams though. Maybe angels? (I'd hope they'd not get agressive). Just 1 pair.

deffinetely a Polypterus of some kind. mine have such unbelieveable character, my smallest one is really cheeky and steal food from my 13" fire eels " lair " :p
anywho, you could go for bloodparrots i supose they arent too aggressive, especialy if u get them small and grow them on. geophagus can get upto 12" so probably not them.
