USA,
saturday my brother should be getting his 55 gallon. It will have a few fish that we already have go in it initially, after a few days as we hav alot of precycled stuff to add to the tank.

It will contain

4 kribs, 2 are a pair, not sure about the other two, I think soon, put not now.
1 blue gourami
1 opaline
2 black skirt tetras, will be getiing more
1 rainbow fish, will be getting more, had a school, but the others died
1 whiptail cat fish
1 pleco

That is all I can think of for now, the others will probley go into my 29 0r 20 if we keep that up, we might use it for crabs though.

the gouramis are in my 29 now, and they are fine, i think one was a juvie male whn I bought it, and is now getting the point on its fin.

I think it is a dwarf pleco, it hasnt grown in months.

Would there be any other bigger sized fish we can put in there? I do not mind puttinmg some in my 29.

(Thanks for bumping it up Inchworm)

what about getting some live bearers? Maybe 4 mollies, ballon, sailfin, lyre tail and regular. (Though some are best brackish, I know) 3 swordtails, and 3 platties added.

and maybe a RTB

Besides the pleco you have more room on the bottom for corries for some other kinds of catfish. And when you get the other additional shoaling fish you should have a well balanced tank. If anything I'd just beef up the shoaling fish because they always look best in large numbers.

what if I scratch the gouramis and 2 kribs. Would I be able to get some angelfish instead?
