Maybe but I think the tank is too small I am afraid. They only get 2" but they still need space, that's why I said pygmy as they are tiny all over but your tempature might just be too low.

endlers are quite active.. 5 gal would be a little small even for just a trio 1 male 2 females, though their bioload is pretty low.

I was thinking of getting a trio of male endlers maybe...

I did consider a betta, but their temperature requirments are just slightly more than my room temperature.

you could happily fit 1 Dwarf Puffer in a heavily planted 5g... They need a slightly higher temp. than you specify though... Why can you only go up to 21C?...

bogwood from what I gather form his other threadhe's not going to use any kind of a heater, and 21 is the ambient room temp during the day.. 19 at night. Too large a temp swing too fast in a small tank really :(

seanc: OK, thanks...

Gold: why can you not have a heater?... a small 25w will do the job in a 5G... and will increase your choice of suitable fish... leaving a tank at ambient room temp is a bit dodgy (esp. a small tank as they don't 'hold' any existing heat as well as a larger tank if the temp. wildly fluctuates)...

Argh, do you not think i would have added a heater if i could??
I am not sure if i have already said in this thread or if it was the other threat, but i do not have any spare power outlets (and yes, i do use extention cables and plugs, and they are all used also)!

I have this 5 gallon sitting around doing nothing, and i want to do something with it!
