I need some ideas of what fish to go for in a 35x18x12 tank. i've got 6 harlequin rasboras and 9 black neon tetra. i fancy a couple of bolivian rams and some cory cats but i dont want anything too difficult to look after or anything big or agressive. I've used the thinkfish.co.uk community creator but i keep adding more fish and i still haven't overstocked. out of curiosity i tried to see how many neons i could have and it said 41. this seems too much to me, any ideas??

41 neons :S i dont think thats right at all , i think , thinkfish.co.uk isnt a reliable source of info at all :/ , but i dont think theres any thing wrong with adding maybe 4-5 corys and 2 rams, and maybe get 3 more harlequins and i think your tank would be very happy then :good: , but make sure to add these fish slowly as its less stressful and makes the hobby more interesting IMO.

I also looked at that thinkfish, it says i can have 60 severums in a 180 gallon, with external filtration - This must be wrong .

You could go for rams, they arent hard to look after, I think they are just sensitive to water conditions/changes, etc - Need good water conditions

It says my tank can have 148cm of fish (58"). A bit optomistic, but it says 48 rasboras count as 144 cm, so thats 3cm each??

I've got a couple of rams now. i asked for a male and a female but i can't tell. I've got come granite rocks which i'm a bit worried about injuring cory's. is this likely to happen. i also like the bristlenose catfish would this be suitable?
