I just got back from the LFS and heard that they would buy my parrots and tetra for an unbelievable price!!! :D :D I've been looking to sell them in order to put more peacful fish into my aquarium. I came home witha new lyertail molly(for my 30 Gl molly tank...have around 280 mollies!!) and 2 albino cories which i plan to put in my 55. I was planning to get smaller tetra (neons and maybe like head n taillight tetra) stuff that are pretty and schoaling fish that arent aggresive and wont nip my fishs tails and kill them~
I have a powerhead so i cant keep anytthing that loves standing water. My LFS has some dward rainbows for a resonable price and I think they might do good in there. Heres a list of fish I'll have after I sell my aggresive fish~!

5 X pearl danios
4 X spotted corys
4 X Corys(2 bronze and 2 albino)

I plan to get maybe a pair of bristlenose or a fancy plec because I moved my common plec to the 30 GL. I think i have enough bottom feeders....I think i want:

more pearls
maybe some zebras (very cheap at LFS...8/1.00)
neon tetra
smaller tetra like head and tailight
maybe some rasboras

You should probably put your common plec back in the 55. He is going to get way to large for that 30G...... :/

You also might do better with either 4 bronze or 4 Albino cories. They seem to relate better to there own breed than others of the same species...

Are the head and tail light the Glow Light Tetras? Saw some of those at my LFS the other day. Those were cool. :)

Yea, i am going to move my plec to my 55 eventually, but he's eating right now! Since i dont have any bottom feeders for my 32 Gallon(sorry its actually a 32 gallon tall)

The head and tailight tetra are actually This.

I was also wondering if rummynose tetra would do good in there...i notice that alot of people have them. :D

Yea i might get some of those also...depends on what my LFS has for sale! :)

When I saw them in the tank it looked like they had a neon light running through the center of them.

I want to get some more pearls....but will rummynose and neons or whatever else I choose get along with my corys/ plecs and danios?

well im planning to sell my fish this friday.... So if someone could help me choose out some fish I would gladly appreciate it! :)

Well Im going today....I am trading in my parrots, black tetra, and some mollies....Any help now...WOULD GLADLY BE APPRECIATED~! :D Thankyou

Well Bad News everyone  :-( :-( :-( While on to the LFS today...My 4 black Skirt tetras passed on :rip: :byebye: About 5 minutes down the road, i checked on them and noticed that my black skirts were all floating...I yelled at my dad to do i u turn and sped down the road back to my house....I put them back into the tank and tried to revive them...but no use, they were no more. The parrots seem to be doing find, and im investingating the cause of death.... :( :-(

yes, rummynoses and neons would get along fine with corys and danios.

and i'm sorry to hear about your black skirts :byebye:

Well i found out it was the water...the sam water i have been using for 15 years..my water co. decided to put extra chlorine in there and thats what did it...every thing seems to be going fine EXEMPT :sly: :grr: My powerhead became dislodged and sucked up 2 of my pearl danios :X  Bad mistake....

Well after a while I think i might not sell my parrots and just keep them, but it looks lonesome in that tank without all my danios and tetra  :-( I got those pearls in my LFS 8/1.00 Good find! but I havent seen any latly ANYWHERE! Im thinking that i may get some more danios if i find them and maybe some rainbows??? Will they get along with my parrots and corys/danios ???? ???? I might get some other tera too...are head and tail light tetra peaceful and not fin nippers?

Hi bshockstubb

I'm so sorry to hear what happened to your poor fish. :byebye:

The bronze and albino corys are most likely both C. aeneus and they will get along just fine, as you probably know by now. :D
