In a word no. Angels take up approximately 10 gallons per fish when stocking. Assuming your tank is 55 US gallons that only leaves 15 gallons for the rest of your fish so you would be massively overstocked. They also need quite a heavily planted tank with lots of places to hide to help spread aggression, your tank must be 18 inches high to eventually accomadate fins and you need to watch out for general aggression once they begin to pair up. They are also prone to eating smaller fish, especially tetras, although it depends a lot on individual personalities as some people have had no problems and others have had disasters.

Get a good book. Look up eventual adult sizes of all your other fish, excluding angels, and multiply up your lengths. All of these added together should not exceed 55 inches or you will be overstocked. If you are looking to add angels as well then remember to knock off around 10 inches for each one.

Good luck
