So im having trouble finding information on stingrays. Im definately interested in picking one up eventually. Possibly a Teacup ray. Has anyone ever mixed Stingrays and Africans? Can it be done? Will the africans attack the ray? Will the ray eat the africans? Im expecting a big NO but maybe someone can tell me otherwise.

That would be a no no no. The stingrays would take a beating from the africans and well as the africans could probably get hurt by the tail. There's not a whole lot that can be paired w/stingrays. I looked into when i got my 125 gallon tank before I settled on africans. I don't know about them catching the africans unless you end up w/a dead or dieing one.

Teacup is a general name for small rays. Never buy a name w/out knowing the scientific name and then confim it yourself through research. Some rays, such a motoro, can get 3 feet (36") across.

Here ya go: The Stingray Guide:

I would not mix this under any circumstances

Most commonly available rays are from the Amazon and need soft water. Most of the African cichlids come from hard alkaline water.
As mentioned by kj it isn't a good idea to mix them.
Rays are sensitive to water quality and do best in a tank on their own. Keep the water perfect otherwise they have all sorts of problems. They are scaleless fishes and as such care must be taken if you need to treat the tank with anything.
Rays that are in poor water develop pink bellies. The pink is the skin being irritated.
