I bought a black female molly about a week ago. When I was gone yesterday, she gave birth to a large sum of baby fry. It should of been a joyful event, but instead I got a bundle of stillborn fry :-( . Some were still in their sacks with the yoke still attached. They were born a little early, but I would of thought at least a few would have survived :/ . Most of them are curled up. I was wondering what could have caused this :dunno: ? Stress? I'm not sure, but I have a feeling maybe she was a new mother. She lived, but I don't know how she'll do. Any suggestions what could have caused this? Thanks to everyone ahead who replies!

:) Usually stress can cause a pregnant female to deliver her fry early. I once bought a heavily pregnant molly and she dropped her fry while in the bag. Unfortuntaly, none of her fry survived.
