Still Cycling Our Tank And The Fish Have Ich

Hello,
We have a 6 week old tank, we have 8 fish and 3 have white spots. We believe that they have ich. We have 2 mollies, 4 tetras, 3 corys, and 2 platys. I heard that there are some meds that are better than others. We have increased the temp to 80. We want to go get the meds tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Are you UK or US or Europe etc, it helps to know which meds to recommend.

How many gallons is the tank?

Just go to the lfs and ask for a good whitespot med and tell them which fish you have.
Don't forget to remove black carbon from the filter if you use it.
Increase aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Read the med instructiions as sometimes you have to have dose with corys.

If you have to preform a water change just add the correct amount of med back to water removed.

If we remove the carbon from the filter, won't that affect the cycling? Are we destroying the filter cartridge?
