Still Awaiting Arrival Of Borris

Hellooo,

Nice pics Dan you always manage to get good clear close ups. The reds are looking colourful to say you just got them, are they going in with the others?

Shame about your dead one especially since you got it for your birthday :rip: though i'm sure there will be plenty of others to take its place.

When you getting Borris?

great pics but.......these guys don't seem to have a great deal of swimming room.

turn around, one swish of their tail fins and they will prob be at the divider already.

is this a temporary measure??

Why have they been divided, are they not compatibel with the other fish? Also what kind of fish is CD?

omg scary piranhas... They are neat, but not my favorite fish to say the least.. too bad about the one that died.. looks like some blood coming out of its gills?

Cool. Hope 1 eyed jake will take a chill pill and will share his crib. :p

That's a pic of my friends fish.. he's just under 14" in a 5x2x2 (150gal) He's had that particular fish for a couple of years, but kept other blacks before.. we're both on other forums, so yes, i know who Borris is!!
My first fish were red-bellies about 12 years ago.. since then i've kept many types of predatory fish and have now settled on 5 African Tigerfish, they're on other forums too.. i'll try and find more piranha pics..

Wow thats one scary looking fish, how do you preform vacum cleanins without it biting your arm off?

No, i'm not Dazza.. i'm on Fury and MFK mainly, i think there's some pics of my tank on the others though.. there's some on here too.. http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=120697
10 of them is going to be superb!! Have a look for tankmates for them, my scissor-tails have been legendary.. i know they're going to be lunch at some point, but they're doing a great job at keeping everythng mellow now. The Tigers didn't want to be near each other before I introduced the scissors, now they don't want to be left behind by the rest of the shoal!!
Heh, mine aren't quite big enough to bite my arm off yet, they're about 8cm..
