Sticky Request: What Information To Give When Asking Questions

There seems to be some information needed to answer the majority of questions people ask on this forum. Could we make a sticky to tell people what to tell others when asking questions? Examples could include:

1) Size of the tank in question (gallons/litres)
2) Substrate type
3) Lighting type - wattage/tube type
4) Lighting period (how long your lights are on for each day)
5) Fertiliser type and how much/how often it is added
6) Is CO2 used and the level (ppm)
7) The type of plant(s) being asked about

If people posted this information (which is relevant for many questions!) it would save others having to ask for this once the thread is started?

But in all honesty how many people will read a sticky on how to ask a question, I doubt very many, Im sure this is an issue in all other sections on this forum as well.

emergencies section has a similar sticky, i end up copying and pasting it onto every thread i look at there

I think it is a good idea. In the members' tank pictures section it seems to work; many do answer the questions as proposed.
