Morning,

I read on a post (that i can't find now) that you can use a few things for this but just want to check that i am correct before carrying on.

I believe that you can get silicone sealent that is for the aquatic tank BUT is exactly the same as silicone sealent for the bathroom that DOESN'T have the mould resistant stuff in it. Is that correct?

Also i read that you can use superglue within the tank to hold rocks together and prevent them falling. Is this correct?

If the superglue is ok to be used in the tank is there anything you have to watch out for with it??

Thanks for your help in advance!

Personally, I wouldn't use anything that's not supposed to go into a tank. For me, it would be tank sealant or nothing; it's just not worth the risk, IMO.

you should be able to get tank safe silicon from your lfs. it's just the regular stuff (Selleys or similar), but they have taken out the risk by choosing the right bathroom sealant for you (for which i am sure you will pay a premium!)

Thanks guys.

Russell that web link is great only problem is they will only let you buy if you spend over £10. I am only after one tube lol. dont suppose you have any lying about your willing to sell? Half tube would probably do!

Cheers

Having sourced the stuff i am going to need it really isnt worth the hassle! Will just have to rearrange the tank again to look another way!

cheers for help though
