Hey eveyone....alot of people told me my wild caught stickleback would die like a day after i got them, but its nearing 2 weeks...!!! and they are doing great....if you ever kept them how long did they last?
I know for a fact that my lfs owner had some wild caught ones and they were even preparing to breed.Cant remember how long he had them but they did die eventually.He killed a load of lobster and other fry by adding rainwater to their tanks so I dont know if he managed to finish off the sticklebacks at the same time
I will ask when Im over for my twice weekly stalk tomorrow!
i put mine in dechlorinated water....with a bit of river water.....and some of their surroundings....plants...moss...rocks....they seem to eat the plants..and lettuce...
I will see if he has any tips when Im over and let you know.I remember he did have them for quite a while and I remember the tank was set up like yours-stones,rocks etc.
