Hi, I'm soon to be the proud owner of a brand spanking new ND Aquatics 5x2x2 tank.

At present I have 2 x Geophagus Abalios (I know they should be in groups) with the bigger specemin constantly bickering with the smaller one (I know I shouldnt be suprised).

Anyway, in a 500l tank would I be better selling both the Abalios and introducing a group of 6 Pindares, or upping the number of Abalios to 5-6?

I'm worried that this tank may not be big enough for a group of Abalios long-term and whether I'd be best selling them to someone who had the room and had a few already. Add to this the fact, I'm finding it hard to locate any apart from Wildwoods online, which are £22 each. Wildwoods currently have 7 Juvie Pindares in 4cm-5cm at £12.95 each.

Hmmm, I just dont know what to do. I really love the colours in my abalios but I'm not sure if the new tank will be big enough.

Anyway I'll be running a Fluval 406 and an FX5 so filtration shouldnt be a problem.

Other tank mates will be:
11 Bleeding Heart Tetra's
5 Julii Corys
1 Rotkeil Severum 5"
Maybe my 4" Blue Acara (might be rehoming)

I'll also be keeping a journal on here of the progress on my new tank and setup if anyones interested.

Thanks in Advance
