Stem Plants

hi there, i have a lot of stem plants in my set up, doing what they do they seem to be growing quite tall but are not very widespread, i was wondering if i was to take a cutting say the top half of one of a stem plant and re planted it, would it carry on growing healthily ? and would the original plant i took it from continue to grow ?

Yes you can cut the stem in half and re plant them, both will continue to grow
