Starting Again

we bought our fish about a month ago and we made some mistakes with the tank and type of fish we bought but once our danio has gone back to the lfs tomorrow I'll be left with just 2 lonely platys in a 60l tank who need some company.
I have no idea what I want to put in with them so any suggestions for peaceful tankmates for them would be really appreciated as I don't want to end up buying the wrong type of fish again.

neon treta? there my fav or more plattys there schooling fish so they wont mind afew more buddys

Other livebearers. Swordtails,mollys,guppys.Any other peaceful comunity fish that fits your tank.

I would like more platys but don't want fry so would have to get more males but not sure if they'd fight without a female? How many tetras do you recommend?

tetras arint live breeders but there great little fish and 4-7 ish maybe
