Hey,

Im going to start a planted tank and dont really know what im doing. The tank is 5 gallons and I am planning to put in a few endlers. Could you people give me hints and tips of what I should do and plants I could use and things like that. Im going to put a small piece of bogwood in, thats all i know!

Lights, CO2, ferts, etc Info Info Info.

I am assuming low light and no CO2 therefore in a small tank like that it might be nice to just concentrate on a few species of low light plants.

If you can get a piece of bogowwd in a U shape or than can wrap around the sides and back then you could have Narrow leaf Java Ferns + Anubias (maybe using Anubias Petite to carpet although this will take a long time)

Keeping a small tank simple is probably the best way (I am going to start a 8G in a few months time)

Take a look on www.plantgeek.net and have a look at light requirements and suchlike
