Okay so I am looking to move my two dojo loaches to a larger tank because clearly 10 gallons for two of them is way too small. The problem is, I can't find any good tanks online... I've only really browsed around on the Internet so I'm not really sure if they have anything different at my local fish store; either way I want to know what kind of tank would be best. I want something around 25-30 gallons that has a lid that I can remove completely. I also really want one that looks more modern and sleek and not cheap like a lot of the ones I've been seeing. Also, I want a tank that has a lot of surface area on the base and not too much height because my dojo loaches are, of course, bottom dwellers and so I want to accomodate them.

Besides getting a new tank, I really want to design it so that it fits my fish's natural habitats. I know it's a stretch and it will be difficult-ish, but if anyone has any information about this then feel free to share because I will love you forever! And even if no one has any idea about the habitat-specifics, just any plants or substrate or whatever that you reccommend would be amazing. Basically what I'm looking for is ANY advice possible to make my tank perfect for my wonderful fishies :]

Also I was wondering, could I put other fish in aside from my two loaches? If I'm getting a large tank like that I really don't want the entire thing to be empty... And if so, what fish are compatible? I really like unique, not-your-typical-petstore-types of fish. Would dwarf chain loaches be a possibilty by chance...? And if not, would 5 of those in my 10 gallon work?

Thanks in advance for any help!<3

i can't really help you with other loaches, but i do know you could get a custom tank, and you could set its dimensions
