Starting A 15 Gallon Hexagon Stocking Help (Oddities Preferred)

I have a 15 gallon tank that i am currently trying to figure out what to stock it with. I'm basically looking for anything that's either flashy, odd, or attitude and it would be amazing to get all three. In short i just would like something entertaining to watch that is relatively easy to care for. I have a school of cory cats in my 29 that i am interested in moving over depending on what i decide to go with.

You're going to be pretty limited. A 15 hex has a small footprint. What does it measure across the top?

I cant locate a tap measure at the moment but i believe its about 12 inches across and about 20 inches tall (just guesses so i cant be sure). I was thinking something like 2 schools of small tetras or barbs. I personally would love something active like zebra danios but there just isn't enough space for a school of them to be happily swimming. I was also thinking that I really want a school of tiger barbs and it looks like I am eliminating them from the possibilities for my 29 gallon but I don't think a 15 gallon would be enough room to have 6-7 of them happy. Right now my ideas are the 4 peppered cory cats i have, 2 false julii cory cats, and maybe 6 cherry barbs along with something else?

Also I really doubt this makes much difference as the primary problem with a tank this size is swimming space but it is over filtered with a topfin 30.

Never mind my mom decided to settle this... We went by a really nice lfs earlier today and well she deiced to make her mind up herself and dispite my protest went with 5 tiger barbs, 2 skunk cory cats and get this... 2 ROSY BARBS She really wanted some and the second guy (both guys were knowledgeable but the second guy was a little bit more lenient on what he'd say was ok, after all he said it would outgrow it but told her it would take a while.). Lets just say im not happy. Id never thought id hope a fish would kill a fish but i feel like it would be better for the tiger barbs to put the rosy's out of their misery while they are still small.
