Starting 30 Gallon Krib Tank

I've decided to begin my first expirence with cichlids starting off with a pair of kribs. How common are they in pet stores? are they usually expensive? can they live peacefully with another pair? Does the pair have to be of the same kind or can they each be a different variety? I've been reading as many articles as I can about them, and I know the basics. Also, what other animals can they live with peacefully, like ADFs?

well they are peaceful fish, until they start mating and such, they can become very agressive

they are good with pleco's, but anything else, when it comes mating time they will bully the heck of it

they are not too expensive, a few bucks, yes they can live peacefully in a 30 with another pair but it all depends on the fish

plec's aren't the best idea for a krib tank as they eat all their eggs.

yes you can mix together albino and normal variaties, i wouldn't cross over species of 'krib' though like red kribs etc.

as for them being peaceful when they start breeding they won't stop so won't be peaceful much longer.

they can live with other fish danio's other surface dwelling fish aswel.
