I'm in the middle of fishless cycling a pets at home 40 cm box tank. I want to add them across the back to hide the filter and heater can any one see any problems, and how many will I need

Great choice, theses are really easy to keep plants and are great for low tech plants. Personally, I think you will only need one set of 5 as they will broaden in no time with the correct care and attention.

Please let us know how it goes. I don't what the correct care mentioned might be or how it is considered easy. I have tried everything and can't keep vals alive. They are the hardest plant that I have ever tried. I would really love to learn how to keep them alive.
