Start Of My 10 Gallon Shrimp Tank

heres a pic of the start of my shrimp tank.

there is going to be x-mas moss on the wood, and a few other plants maybe moss balls if i can find any if you could recommend any plants that shrimp like then feel free to tell me thanks

Looks like a good start. What sort of shrimp are you thinking of getting?

Moss, Java Fern or Anubias would all grow well tied onto the wood. I'm asuming this is just normal gravel, if you go for some plants that need rooting in the substrate I would recomend getting some root tabs.

If you do find the moss balls i recomend turning them round often to help them keep their shape. I didn't and mine are a funny shape now!

what ever i can find, im gonig to go to the lfs and see what they have for plants, and if they have any shrimp, i might be able to get some cherries, if not i will just get ghost or amano, it really depends, i might put a school of neon tetra in there but im not sure. as for moss balls i know a few guys that have them, i might be able to get some off them.

If you are adding ferts and have really good lighting, my shrimp loved when I had a lily in my tank, can't remember the exact species I had, but it was great watching the shrimp bask on the leaves.

looks good dthoffsett i think lillies get to big for my 10, i was thinking ug for the front of the tank, something bushy and something with big leaves at the back

I don't have any recent ones, my lily is gone (don't have any full tank shots with that either) and I'm too embarrased to take any shots now. I suck at tank decor and have let the two plants in there sort of take over the tank.

thats ok, im not any good at rearanging the plants and decore in the tank either
