Whats your staple food for fish in a community tank?

My staple food is Tetra Color Bits Tropical Granuals

I don't really have any
My girlfriend went crazy over food 2 weeks ago and bought like 14 different kinds. to top it off, i already had frozen blooworms, brine shrimps and mosquitoes larvae.

I just feed anything I get my hands on, quite random.

Tetra crisps and bio blend. Twice a week or so I feed frozen bloodworms or jarred daphnia and once in a while I feed some cooked peas.

No fish yet but when I get my betta I'll feed it frozen food as a staple and give it flakes once a week or so, just to make sure he will eat it because I'm sure Mum won't want to feed him worms when I'm on hoilday
