Were having stakae tonight and i was just curious as to if my bettas could have a little bit. Its cooked medium rare and id only give em a pinch and put it on a stick as not to contamanate the water. But, is it safe for the fish

Are you talking about steak...? Personally, I wouldn't, because you don't know what might be on the steak, etc. Just keep to their normal, healthy food.

I wouldn't do it myself. Reading up on some other types of fish the only type of meat they ever recommended feeding was low-fat meat such as chicken, not beef

if i remember correctly, it's actually quite difficult for you to digest and break down red meats, so imagine how it'd be for a betta that doesn't have red meat in its natural diet. no, i don't think it's a good idea.
